The Auction House
Trade with everyone, any time — even with players who are offline. One market for the whole realm.
Overview
The Auction House is a single, realm-wide market. Listings placed in Cameron are seen in
Arkhata; a bid placed at midnight is honoured when the seller logs in next week. Open it
from the menu bar or with #auction open; every action also has a text command (/ah …, see Commands).
The window has five tabs: Browse, Sell, My Bids, My Auctions and Deliveries.
Browsing
Filter by name, level range and category, sort by time left, price, level, name, twenty listings per page. Clicking a listing shows the complete examine text — modifiers, requirements, durations, bonding, gilding, key-ring contents — exactly as if thou wert looking at the item, plus the seller's name, the number of bids, the current bid and the buyout.
| Category | Holds |
|---|---|
| Weapons | Swords, two-handers, axes, maces, bows, crossbows, wands, staffs. |
| Armour | Body armour, helmets, boots, gloves, shields. |
| Accessories | Rings, amulets, belts, cloaks. |
| Consumables | Potions, scrolls, food. |
| Materials | Ingredients, ores and other raw goods. |
| Misc | Everything that fits nowhere else. |
| Orbs | Enchanting orbs and anti-orbs. |
| Companions | Companion summoning tokens — level, gifts and name included. |
Listing names carry the item's strongest modifier, so searching for an affix name is a real shopping tool — see Gear Affixes.
Selling
- Sell from thy worn gear or inventory; pick the item in the Sell tab.
- Set a starting price and optionally a buyout price.
- Choose a duration from 1 hour to 7 days; thy last choice is remembered (24 hours by default).
- A listing fee of 5 % of the starting price (at least 1 gold) is shown before thou confirmest and is charged when the listing goes up.
- Thou canst hold up to 50 active auctions at once.
- The price of a listing nobody has bid on yet can still be edited; cancel it any time before the first bid.
What cannot be listed: bonded items, labyrinth items, items that may not enter a depot (clan jewels and their kin), and containers that still have something inside. Empty the bag first.
Bidding and buying
- The window tells thee the minimum next bid — at least 5 % above the current one.
- Thy gold is taken when thou biddest; if thou art outbid it comes straight back as a delivery.
- Buy out pays the buyout price and ends the auction at once.
- Bids, buyouts and cancellations cannot race each other — the server settles them one at a time.
My Bids, My Auctions, Deliveries
My Bids shows every auction thou art bidding on and whether thou art winning or outbid. My Auctions lists thy sales with their state. Deliveries collects everything owed to thee — won items, sale proceeds, refunds and returned unsold items — with Claim and Claim All. Deliveries wait until thou claimest them; thou needest free inventory space for items.
Listings of deleted characters are cleaned up automatically and their bids refunded.
