Our Community Values

The Ugaris community is built on respect, inclusivity, and a shared love for the game. These guidelines apply to all community spaces — Discord, in-game chat, forums, and social media.

Be Respectful

• Treat everyone with dignity and respect, regardless of background, skill level, or opinions.
• Disagree constructively — attack ideas, not people.
• Avoid personal attacks, insults, or condescending behaviour.
• Remember there's a real person behind every username.

Keep It Welcoming

• Welcome new players and help them learn the game.
• No hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory language of any kind.
• Avoid controversial topics like politics and religion in public channels.
• Keep content appropriate — no NSFW material in any community space.
• Be patient with those who are still learning.

Discord-Specific Guidelines

• Use the appropriate channels for your discussions.
• Don't spam messages, emojis, or mentions.
• Avoid excessive self-promotion or advertising.
• Don't share personal information about yourself or others.
• Follow Discord's Terms of Service in addition to these guidelines.
• Report rule violations to moderators rather than confronting users directly.

Constructive Feedback

We value feedback from our community. When providing suggestions or criticism:

• Be specific and constructive with your feedback.
• Explain the problem and suggest potential solutions.
• Use the appropriate channels (bug reports, suggestions, etc.).
• Be patient — developers are working hard but have limited resources.
• Remember that not all suggestions can be implemented.

Consequences

Violations of these guidelines may result in:

• Verbal warning from moderators
• Temporary mute or timeout
• Temporary ban from community spaces
• Permanent ban for severe or repeated violations
